Description
In “The Twin Letters”, HetaOne uses graffiti lettering codes to charge them with strong symbolism. He draws the letters of his artist name, “HETA”, but the H and A, arranged symmetrically, become the true pillars of the work.
A flame burns the A, while an airplane slowly approaches the H. The reference to the Twin Towers is explicit, superimposing a historical tragedy on the graffiti universe.
The work asks: can we divert the tragic symbols? Is it a provocation? A conspiracy theory? Why does the image remain silent on what is right or wrong?
The Twin Letters does not provide any answers. It merely superimposes layers of meaning and leaves the viewer in uncertainty.
